A Prelude to Healing Letters

Healing doesn't always begin with grand gestures; sometimes, it starts with a quiet letter to the parts of ourselves we've long forgotten.

This is why I am writing letters.
Not just as a cathartic exercise — but as an act of reunion.
A reunion between who I was, who I am, and who I am becoming.

These letters are for the parts of me that stayed silent too long.
For the little girl who needed protection.
For the teenager who stayed strong when the world didn’t seem safe.

This is a journey of remembrance and reconnection.
It’s not about forgetting the darkness.
It’s about acknowledging it — and choosing, with open eyes and steady hands, to walk forward anyway.
